This afternoon there was a Large-billed Savannah Sparrow at Wall Beach about 500 m North of the river mouth. This area had been publicly accessible from Ocean Park but the Santa Ynez River broke open to the ocean beween yesterday and today and is flowing freely. Water levels at Ocean Park have dropped considerably and I saw at least 1 vehicle in there but could not tell if the gate was open.
