After much searching, Haim re-found the Scarlet Tanager at Kit Carson Park. Spotted at 33.0754271, -117.0622042 at 1125, and currently flying among trees near 33.0750675, -117.0620939.

Shortly before 8am this morning there was a Scarlet Tanager feeding on berries at Kit Carson Park in Escondido here: (33.0742252, -117.0634460). Also in smaller trees near the picnic tables there.
