Not a rare species, but it is my first leucistic YRWA in the ~12,000
individuals I have seen. So, not one in a million, but one in ten thousand
or so! Same location as Friday: (33.1247106, -117.3194002) at 8:20. Pics at
https://ebird.org/checklist/S284948899. Looks almost white headed like a
White Tern - missing most dark feathers on head but still has a hint of
yellow on throat and crown. In bright light, some of the flank feathers look
rufous.
