Subject: Re: [hmbirds] Greater white-fronted goose and a snow goose-Canada hybrid in Hudson Crossing Park
I was just there about an hour ago looking for the grt white-fronted. There
were maybe 1000 canada geese, very viewable from the picnic tables on the
west side of the lock, and I scoped them carefully several times, but could
not locate the white-fronted. There were at least 2 canadas with some weird
white feathering on the head, although not as extensive as the bird Yana
photo'd yesterday.

I'm guessing this white-fronted is the same individual that has been around
blockhouse park in stillwater a couple of times recently (also not found
there thoday), and is just moving around a lot, associating with various
clumps of canadas.
