Reminder: Major portions of the refuge are seasonally closed to vehicular traffic Nov 15 through Feb 28. There are some areas that will remain open to traffic including Coal Chute to Huntsman Rd, Ditch 13 and Frackin Rd. Michael and I made a quick trip out there late this afternoon and enjoyed the lovely setting sun with a few Sedge Wrens wondering why we were still hanging around.
