Subject: [cobirds] American Bittern in Montrose
This afternoon I had an American Bittern fly over the road in front of me while driving through the Bridges Golf Course in Montrose. It landed in a ditch, and I was able to get a cell phone photo. I'm not sure if this is a first county record, but eBird doesn't show any records for Montrose County. Delta County, just to the north, has lots of records. Here is my checklist with the poor-quality cell phone photo: https://ebird.org/checklist/S284464004
