Visitors: Malcolm Kurtz, a birder from Pittsburgh, visited to try to see his first Golden Eagle. He had limited time, worked hard at scanning, and found the only Golden Eagle 2 miles away above the AF foothills.
Weather: Wind W 4-6 mph, increasingly overcast. The good wind forecast didn't materialize.
