Official Counter: Kate McKay

Observers: Chuck Carlson, Meade Cadot, Nora Hanke

Visitors:
94. Many thanks to Chris, James, and Phil for help spotting birds.

Weather:
Mostly sunny and clear with visibility to Mt. Washington all day. Windy in
the morning, becoming calmer in the afternoon. The wind was mostly from the
northwest. Temperatures ranging from 29 °F to 40 °F.

Raptor Observations:
Migrants today consisted of two of each for Turkey Vutlures, Bald Eagles,
sharpies, and red-shoulders, along with one Cooper's, one goshawk, and
eight red-tails. We got nice looks of the immature goshawk as it went by
out in front of the hawkwatch during the 1 o'clock hour.

Non-raptor Observations:
Other birds included three Snow Buntings flying by low, a small flock of
crows, a pair of robins, and a single Evening Grosbeak.
American Crows: 7/253

Predictions:
Slightly warmer tomorrow with a southwest wind.
