Weather:
Cloudy with a tiny bit of sunshine in the afternoon. Light breeze from the
south and nice visibility all the way to Mt. Washington. Temperatures
ranging from 29 °F to 40 °F.
Raptor Observations:
Two red-tails and a red-shoulder migrated by, while local red-tails enjoyed
kiting above North Pack for much of the day.
Non-raptor Observations:
Highlights included a flock of ten Evening Grosbeaks (some landed in
spruces near the hawkwatch) and three Red Crossbills. Other animals
included red squirrels, chipmunks, and rabbits.
Predictions:
Tomorrow looks like a nice day for the Big Soup with partly sunny skies and
slightly warmer temperatures.
