Weather:
Cloudy with a light breeze from the southwest, shifting to the south as the
day went on. Temperatures started at 34 °F, slowly increased, and then
stayed steady at 41 °F during the afternoon.

Raptor Observations:
A few red-tails and a juvenile harrier were the only migrants of the day. A
red-shoulder came by heading north, paused to circle for a bit, and then
kept going, eventually disappearing beyond Crotched Mountain. Other
non-migrants included the local red-tails and an immature Bald Eagle.

Non-raptor Observations:
In the morning, three Snow Buntings were hanging out near the summit
parking lot. A flock of eleven Purple Finches posed for pictures in spruces
near the hawkwatch. Juncos were occasionally seen, a couple of
White-throated Sparrows came in for seed, and an Evening Grosbeak was heard
flying over. Chipmunks, rabbits, and clouds provided entertainment
throughout the day.

Predictions:
Sunnier and colder tomorrow with a wind from the northwest. Could be good
for migrants!
