Comments: I was not able to access my count site onPresque Isle S.P. this morning since the strong wind last night took out the powerlines at the lighthouse. It isunfortunate, since I think I would have had a banner day there. However, despite most of the ducks being toofar offshore to ID, I did have a decent movement of distant scaup, Red-breastedMerganser and a record-breaking day for Dunlin. One flock of Dunlin I estimated to contain about 250 birds! All birds were moving west.
