Visitors:
Aaron Peachey stayed for several hours and spotted most of the waterfowl


Weather:
Strong west winds 30 with higher gusts. Temperatures steady all day around
freezing. 100 overcast most of day with periodically snow squalls reducing
visibility

Raptor Observations:
Very slow, expected better with strong winds. Couple of Redtail sightings
not counted as migratory. Two Bald Eagles went by around 10:30, then
nothing until about 2:30 with a single sharpie going thru.

Non-raptor Observations:
Lots of migrating waterfowl, with 100+ mergansers, two flocks of swans, a
loon seen. Late in the day 7-8 Ringbill gulls. Juncos, Gold-crowned
Kinglet, Nuthatch, Ravens also seen or heard. A large flock ( 40+)of
unidentified birds flying directly south appeared to kettle over Ferguson
valley then disappearing into cloud cover.
