Weather: Cold and windy with temperatures in the low thirties. Variable cloud cover and visibility. The season's first snowflakes appeared in the morning, with occasional snow squalls throughout the day.
Raptor Observations: Mostly red-tails migrating, along with a few other species including two goshawks that flew by during the 10 o'clock hour.
Non-raptor Observations: One Mourning Dove and four Snow Buntings near the summit parking lot in the morning. Seven robins eating mountain ash berries near the hawkwatch and flocks of Canada Geese flying overhead in the afternoon.
