About an hour ago, I had a hatch-year female Scarlet Tanager at Westminster Memorial Park. Entering from the main entrance along Beach Blvd., continue west to Lakeside Chapel, and park just past the duck-filled pond. The bird was flycatching at low to medium heights in very tall roadside ash trees.
