Subject: [AZNMbirds] Another ducky day and question?
This morning while walking my dogs at Arthur Pack, I was alerted by a sharp medium high pitched squeal, followed by two series of “ca-REER-er- ca-REER-er…. In two clusters of five.
???? In the east I would have automatically identified it as a Red-shouldered Hawk call… but here I hesitate to ID it since I didn’t get eyes on the bird and Red-shouldered Hawks are rare in this valley.
Any Ideas???

1 Green-winged Teal
2 Cinnamon Teal
1 Lesser Scaup
2 Ring-necked Duck
3 Bufflehead, fall first drake.

66 Ruddy Ducks

Also found first of fall Western Bluebirds.
