This is very sad news. I knew and birded with Bill since about 1970, possibly earlier. Walt Sabin was our mentor in HMBC with many memorable trips and fun events. Acquisition of the Reist Sanctuary. Lots of crazy stories in our merry band and youthful birding.
RIP Bill. I hope you are soaring with the Condors.

Bill Lee, my father-in-law, died this morning at Kingsway Nursing Home. He was 88. There are folks in the bird club who knew him and remembered him, if you would kindly pass word along. My wife says that family have contacted Bob Yunick already, and I emailed the current club secretary, Dan Leonard, this morning as well.
