Date: 11/5/25 6:45 am From: John Tumasonis <snakemonev...> Subject: [cobirds] East Lake, Thorton CO, waterfowl
All: Lots of waterfowl are assembling on East Lake (East Lake Park) in Thornton. I only had binoculars, so somebody with a good scope may be able to pick out some rarities if you visit. Listed below are minimum counts. Remember that species are coming in and out in droves - so what you see one day, may not be there the next day. Counts were done on 11-4-25, midday. Note: port-a-potty is available on York Street parking area near Lake Village Park, to the north, across 128th. Best viewing is on the northeast side, due to sun glare.
