Hi all, Yesterday during my monthly birding walk at the Garden, we happened upon an adult sapsucker that I'm pretty sure is Red-naped. I submitted to eBird as that species, though since I didn't see the back of the bird or any red in the nape, I am only 90% on this. One of my group, a good observer, said he did see red in the nape. The bird was on the east side of the Meadow, in the Black Oak just to the north of the large CA Buckeye tree along the east side of the trail. Notes about my observation in my checklist <https://ebird.org/checklist/S284033742>. I don't have much experience with adults of Red-naped or Yellow-bellied, so any confirmation would be welcome. Also present there in the Meadow was a White-throated Sparrow.
