American Bittern is still present at Lions Lake. I had given up that he was still hanging around as a couple other folks looked and were unable to relocate. He hunkers down pretty well in the grasses around the shoreline. This time he was opposite the stage, so it's using the whole lake.

American Bittern still present as of 10 mins ago. Was observed working the shoreline near the sand volleyball area. The wigeon has moved on.

I was able to relocate the American Bittern seen on 11/5 by Chris Tobin at Lions Lake in Washington, MO. Originally seen by the parking lot next to the gazebo bridge. Currently is being viewed by the Cypress tree near the aluminum porch swing. Also present is an American Wigeon.
