Observation start time: 09:30:00 Observation end time: 15:00:00 Total observation time: 5.5 hours
Official Counter: John Mercer
Observers: Dave Eberly
Visitors: Chris Braudy from Lewis Delaware
Weather: Cool and quite windy, mostly from the NW around 15 mph. Clouds built until around noon then stabilized
Raptor Observations: All Red-shouldered were adults. At one point an adult and two non-adult Eagles were out front, but did not go through. The local Merlin showed up near the end and came back towards me so I could get some nice pictures. They are on eBird on the Rose Tree Park Hotspot. Locals: RT, CH, TV, BE, BV and ML
Non-raptor Observations: Two Common Raven
Predictions: The fairly strong winds will shift to the south, bringing warmer temperatures with real feels of almost 60. Cloud cover should be nice for spotting hawk, but winds may be less than ideal. ======================================================================== Report submitted by John Mercer (<mercer1135...>) Rose Tree Park information may be found at: https://bcdelco.org/activities/rose-tree-park-hawkwatch/
