Subject: [Mendobirds] A young tundra swan seen last week in Gualala
Hi All,

Michael Coustier sent in a photo of a tundra swan that he photographed on
Oct. 27th around 6 pm. He was behind the Cypress Center, near the water
company offices. It's been identified as a juvenile. No other tundra swans
were seen. The swan was headed south. The golden color is probably the
reflection of the sun, according to the photographer. It's a beautiful photo
and I wanted to share this sighting with you.
