Yesterday just before dark, I was surprised to see a swallow flying around at our place. After an hour of observing, it disappeared around dusk. We were able to get a few diagnostic pics before it vanished. Dark head and pale throat were obvious. I have not seen it again this morning, but it may still be in the area. Thanks to those who helped with ID!
