Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] A great day to sign up for this year's San Diego Christmas Bird Count
Dear friends,
If you haven't yet signed up for this year's San Diego Christmas Bird Count on 20 December 2025, today would be an auspicious day to do it! Our organizing committee is meeting to strategize this afternoon, and the more people signed up before, the better and more efficient the count's organization will be. So please sign up at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe84oAwxB239sixHhNJV46Y-FLoRc4CT3Bf8CPMHtQlM5CABA/viewform?pli=1.
Thanks very much,
Philip Unitt, Lesley Handa, Jen Hajj, Olivia Poulos, Sandy McCann, Shannon Mindeman, and Lindsay Willrick

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
