Subject: [OrangeCountyBirding] Olive-backed Pipit & Gilman Park miscellanea
As mentioned by Ryan, the OLIVE-BACKED PIPIT continues at Gilman Park. It spent the almost the entire morning and early afternoon working the little swale or bowl area with the carrotwood trees directly east of the north (upstream) bridge.

Also, a singing PLUMBEOUS VIREO continues since Saturday and was singing very audibly as it wandered about the southern half of the park.

A BROWN CREEPER was also wandering about and at one point was scaling the trees by the pipit.

I heard second hand that a ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was seen this morning as well.

And at least of local interest, a female COSTA'S HUMMINGBIRD was skulking about the trees and bushes just downstream from the northern bridge and the last house on Treeview Lane. A very uncommon if not downright rare bird in the county in fall/winter away from Trabuco Canyon, Rancho Santa Margarita, and perhaps a few other interior canyons in south county.
