Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Palm Warbler and miscellanea
Monday afternoon there is a Palm Warbler along the southern edge of the SDSU Mission Valley Park which is the park at Snapdragon Stadium, and this particular exact spot is due south of the stadium. The exact map location is:

Not that Palm Warblers are the rarest thing in the world, but it's actually been a below average season for them this year. I even commented earlier this year that this park has perfect Palm Warbler habitat covering vast expanses of it.
In other minor news the last couple days, Yesterday there was a new Tennessee Warbler in Liberty Station and a continuing Plumbeous Vireo in Serra Mesa, both in sensitive residential areas. And there was a flock of five Greater White-fronted Geese at the bottom end of Sweetwater Reservoir.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
