- Comments: "Continuing juveniles. Both were perched in the smaller Monterey Cypress, closest to the last boat ramp.
We have been observing this species since early September. We observed one juvenile at this location in the morning of 9/6/25 and again on 9/7/25, 9/8/25, 9/12/25 and 9/18/25. We observed three juveniles on 9/25/25 and 9/26/25. On 10/2/25 we observed two juveniles. On 10/7/25 and 10/8/25 we observed a single juvenile here. On 10/13/25 and 10/14/25 we again observed two individuals and on 10/23/25 once more just a single one.
One juvenile was first present here on 9/4/25 and could have been the same individual reported on 9/3/25 at the Morro Bay SP Marina.
Today's juveniles had a dark, stout bill with yellow feathers at the base of the lower mandible; small white triangular spots on the covert feathers."

- Comments: "Upperparts olive with 2 wing bars, underparts greenish-yellowish, thin decurved bill. Short, spiky tail. When seen together similar in size to a nearby Golden-crowned Sparrow. This bird had been seen a few times over 2 days but no photos possible at the time."

- Comments: "Continuing; loosely associated with Bushtits, feeding in fennel and other brush on the north bank of the creek, midway between the footbridge and the sycamore where the NECO hung out for so long. Gray above, occasionally flashing a little brick reddish rump; large but poorly defined whitish ocular ring; underparts very pale (making nearby Bushtits look dark in comparison); and shorter-tailed than the Bushtits."

- Comments: "While preparing to bring in the bird seed from the yard, I saw a small warbler with a bright yellow front, faint black streaked necklace, grayish blue back and prominent white eye ring perched on a beam. It quickly flew to the water fountain where it bathed for 2 minutes. Photos show a white vent. After bathing, it flew out of the yard heading south in the direction of the Cloisters community park."
