No super rarities, but these subject birds were actively foraging this afternoon between 3 and 3:45 pm in the riparian along Carrol Creek in back of Creekside Labs complex (just west of the intersection of Sorrento Valley Rd and I-805. This area has large sycamores and willows and other riparian vegetation. Details in ebird report https://ebird.org/checklist/S281352436 There is bad news and good news about birding this hotspot. The bad news is that we can no longer bird on the creek side path in back of building 10260, but the good news is, that birders can once again park in the large parking lot on the other side of the creek at this location and bird the creek from the parking lots there. I discussed this with a security person there today. It is a nice riparian area with a flowing creek. While there, I also  saw for the first time, a coyote loping nonchalantly west along the creek bed. Â
Best birding to all, SueÂ
