Sitting in a short tree and flew to a fence post, seen from the backyard."

Small passerine with pale bluish gray upper parts and white breast, pale eye rings foraging on and around fennel."

- Comments: "Continuing since 10/22/25 (Tom Edell)
Small bird with light gray head, back and wings; darker gray tail and wing tips; no wingbars; pale throat and belly with light greenish wash on the flanks; white eye ring; when wings did not cover the rump, rufous-red rump patch was visible; no rufous seen on the crown.
Very actively foraging in the fennel and adjacent vegetation along the northern bank of the creek, up-creek from the pedestrian bridge and across from the the six-sided concrete piling by the fence, which made a good seat.
