Also be aware that as of Oct 1, 2025, it is now legal to hunt on Sundays on private land for whatever is in season, except for migratory birds. This is new! Since CT public lands are such a patchwork of parcels, and many state forests, wildlife management areas and state parks may have adjacent private parcels that project significantly into or are totally surrounded by public lands, if you were inclined to wear blaze orange the rest of the week while birding or recreating in the outdoors, I would suggest you continue to wear blaze orange on Sundays.
