- Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&<q...>,-120.6579655&<ll...>,-120.6579655 - Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S279686038 - Media: 1 Photo
- Comments: "Late season bird observed perched on power line before disappearing into large fig tree to feed with Cassin's Kingbirds. This bird showed a light gray head compared to dark-headed Cassin's Kingbirds on same wire and had a blurry dark eye-line, whitish throat and neck with white on throat and neck extending well past the eye, yellow higher on breast then would be expected for Cassin's Kingbird and white outer tail edging."
Cassin's Vireo (Vireo cassinii) (1)
- Reported Oct 16, 2025 08:04 by Nick & Jane
- Meadow Park--San Luis Obispo, San Luis Obispo, California
- Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&<q...>,-120.6606531&<ll...>,-120.6606531 - Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S279739973 - Comments: "Large-ish vireo with bright white wingbars. Creamy underparts—didnt seem yellow enough for a more colorful blue-headed. Not great looks at spectacled head. Though its head was very contrasty, would have needed photos for any kind of furthur examination on throat/head contrast areas. Extremely skulky. Chased this bird to four diff trees! It finally flew into creek at far western end beyond park boundaries. No photo."
