I have had three responses so far and they have included some info on the name I did not recognize on the EBird rare bird report for October 11.
With that info, I have concluded that he is NOT the trespasser but someone else who arrived just as I was leaving and with whom I exchanged some info about birding this location. Very nice person, in fact.
It thus appears that the trespasser did not post an EBird checklist so his identity remains unknown. If it helps at all, his dog was a black and white Australian Shepherd-type dog, and even though it should not have been there, I will say that it was extremely well-behaved and stayed close by his owner at all times.
