Hi everyone, Ryan Ludman and I led a field trip in Cuesta Park (Mountain View) this morning. We spotted this woodpecker working feverishly high in a pine near Grant Rd (37.3710866, -122.0780329). We believe it is a female Williamson's Sapsucker, one of which was seen in this location a couple of winters ago. Photos are attached; what do you think? Thank you!
