Visitors:
Old friend Oliver Kleinbub stopped to chat as he does just about every
week. Among all the hikers, new visitors who expressed interest in what I
was doing were Ritesh Mhasager (hope I got your name right) and his friends
Freddie and Sam; Courtney Klich; and Yuanzhu Li and her many friends.

Weather:
Light (1) SE winds kept light but switched to SW and then SSW at end of
watch.
Cloud cover was very mixed. Day began with 93% cloud cover with clearing
on the NW horizon. They then began breaking up and from 8:15-8:30 the
cloud cover disappeared rapidly such that only 20 % of the sky was covered.
This would reduce to 10% before cumulus clouds started moving in from the
NW such that at the end of the watch there was about 85% cloud cover.
Temperature went from 11-15°C.

Raptor Observations:
No migrating raptors
No local raptors seen

Non-raptor Observations:
An Eastern Phoebe and a Red-brested Nuthatch were the only interesting
birds
Dragonflies -- a Black Saddlebags passed the Rock between 11 and 12.

Predictions:
A strong northeaster is expected to bring heavy rain for the next three
days. On Wednesday NW-NNW winds will become increasingly stronger and may
bring migrants that have been held back by the rain.
