Subject: Golden eagle Koch property Northampton County
Relatively speaking it’s been quiet passerinewise (word?) lately although cedar waxwings are almost constantly around and active. There are song, swamp, Lincoln’s, field, and white-throated sparrows in the bottom fields and a few phoebes around. I’m also occasionally seeing a harrier down there. But I’m not yet seeing sparrows on the millet rock in the yard nor have I seen juncos yet. But a juvenile golden eagle at 5:45 tonight makes up for all that. It was traveling in a SW direction.
