Weather:
Colder, clear, and sunny conditions in the morning. Winds began out of the
NE, then shifted to the E, SE, and S throughout the day, with sustained
winds from 5-8mph, and gusts from 12-17mph. Into the afternoon, some cloud
cover began rolling in, which was helpful in spotting some very distant
raptors.

Raptor Observations:
Raptors in the early morning were fairly low and easily seen, and by late
morning through the end of the count period were distant and high, mostly
spotted just barely by the naked eye or with a spotting scope. Flight
direction remained fairly inconsistent, although birds were flying through
both the N and S gaps throughout the day.
