OK, this is way off topic but hopefully of interest to some.
I'm just back from an adventure that took me from Juneau up into the Yukon. Along the way, I stopped in the Chilkoot Valley to watch the bears grab salmon from the Chilkoot River. Over four rainy days, I saw at least 22 individual bears. I've got a post up on my blog with some pix.
