Subject: [MDBirding] Chimney swifts
I wonder if we have any chimney swift experts in this group. I live in DC
near the Washington Cathedral and have been following chimney swifts
entering a particular chimney near where I live. Since September 19, I’ve
been trying to observe the swifts every night and have collected data on
when they first go into the chimney when the last one goes into the chimney
and the number that I can count going into the chimney. The data is quite
interesting and I would like to discuss it with somebody who knows a lot
more than I do about chimney swifts. I’d be very grateful for any help.
