All, Since I was struggling the bird this morning, I got Paul's opinion. He is not sure either as it has features favoring both. So for now, just hold off on confirming the "Pacific Golden-Plover". I have asked Louis and may ask others especially if we get more photos. I may change the species based on more feedback (with American/Pacific being very much a possibility).
