Subject: [cayugabirds-l] Guided Walks at MNWR 10/11 & 10/25
"TRANSITION"
Change is in the air. Days are shorter. Bird song has nearly ceased. Seeds
have ripened. Nights are filled with the mating calls of insects. Life
prepares for the coming cold by migrating, laying eggs, breeding, gorging,
caching food and finding shelter.
Come join NY State Master Naturalist Volunteer, Pete Saracino, as we seek
to experience different
aspects of this seasonal change.
10/11
10/25
Walks begin at 10 am on the Refuge Visitor Center Deck. Binoculars and
sunscreen advised. All ages are welcomed. Sorry, no pets.
Note: While officially closed due to current Government shutdown, all
trails and viewing areas are open to the public. However, all restrooms are
closed.
