Weather: Complete cloud cover all day with S E that switch to S around noon. Light rain started at 12:30 and mostly stop by the Tim’s I got to the bottom of the mountain. Depended to much on the weather report and expected the rain to continue.
Raptor Observations: Few birds in the morning in the last hour I was there, One sharpie. The raptors seem to be looking for place to ride out the rain. Have a Red-shouldered hawk land on the half-dead pine and leave before I could get a picture, then a while later a sharpie flew below tree level in clearing into the woods down the path beside the alter. Also have male harrier go thru harassed by two sharpies.
Non-raptor Observations: Several warblers, cape May and yellow-rumped. Eastern Towhee ======================================================================== Report submitted by Darrell Smith (<oleagleye...>)
