Hello Birders,
I wanted to suggest a location if someone had some time to check for possible rare migrants in North County. On Sunday, I was coming back from a hike and possibly saw (also picked up by Merlin) a Tennessee Warbler along Foxhall Drive in San Marcos. I didn't report it because I didn't have enough time to confidently confirm the ID of the bird, but the Tipus were loaded with YRWA and a good showing of TOWAs and Paul suggested I send a note to the listserv. Tito had mentioned this spot as promising last year so I'm trying to get it back on the radar of north county birders since I am anchored to a work computer most of the day and can't properly bird the area. I'm living vicariously through your posts.
Happy birding,
Beth
