- Comments: "Duck first spotted from the boardwalk on the oyster bed buoys. A group of us moved over to Pasedena Dr for a better look. The duck was off the buoys and feeding. Diving duck with bill sloping down from forehead. White on face that wraps down behing eye to neck. Wing feathers seem to be grown in, no longer white shafts."

- Comments: "About 6:40 pm on 10/6/25 a Lesser Nighthawk flew through our backyard, dipping and twisting, with quick turns. It was about 15 ft above the ground and had to fly up to glide over the rooftop. No audio was heard. Best view was the bottom side which was buffy to medium brown from neck to tail, and along the strong bars on its long narrow and sharply pointed wings up to the prominent wing bars near the top. Beyond the wing bars it was black (tips). It came out of the riverbed and was headed in the general direction of the two lakes in our development."
