- Comments: "originally flushed when I approached the south end of the dam, but ten minutes later found it perched on a concrete pad near the south fence of the dam. watched it for five minutes or so before it flew off into the brush. small dove with pinkish hue and dark wing patterning."

- Comments: "A medium-sized Buteo circled overhead and was poorly seen due to backlit conditions. I photographed it quickly before it flew off, and only after reviewing the photos did I find that it was an immature Broad-winged Hawk."

- Comments: "Seen at Whittier Pond. It had a light gray head with a darker ear patch, a long heavy black bill, a bright yellow belly with the yellow extending up to the throat, and a long notched tail. (On a personal note, this was my 56th sighting of this species at NCOS every year since 26 September 2020, plus an earlier sighting during a visit to Santa Barbara on 10 November 2013.)"
