- Comments: "Continuing. In grasses opposite outflow in southeast area of lake. Hung out for a while despite there being a boy fishing and swimming on the opposite shore. Stout body, thick neck, underparts white with brown streaks."

- Comments: "Seen on the north side of the east channel while looking directly north from the road at the concrete overflow channel. It was catching dragonflies as first noted yesterday by Hugh Ranson. Watched it from 10:30 to 10:44 AM (and it was still visible as we walked away). A stocky brown heron-like bird with mottled brown upperparts and a bold whisker stripe. The underparts were light with long, wide brown streaks running from the belly up along the neck. The legs were lime green. It often pointed its bill skyward."

- Comments: "Continuing. First seen in foliage on the east side of the campground, then flew across the creek to the tamarisks, far NE end of campground. Seen with several other birders. Pale supercilium,dark eyestripe, eye-arcs, white UTC, short tail, yellow throat and chest, mostly whitish belly with some splotchy pale yellow. Photos."

White breast, belly and throat. Didn't see any yellow on breast, immature? Looked like Adrian's photo. Continuing in this location (34.4308, -119.8135), SW corner of Seymour Duncan Property, where initially found by Ryan Sepula. When I saw it, it was across the drainage ditch from Seymour Duncan on the southern end of the small butterfly/dog walk area denoted by the "Jake the Snake" sign."
