Subject: [Mendobirds] Cassin's Sparrow/MCBG Bird Walk

Hi, all!

On this morning's bird walk as we headed north along the headlands, Tess
McGuire spotted a sparrow atop a high rocky outcropping that's enclosed
within a cable barrier to keep people out. I got several photos and sent
a back-of-camera shot to my private birders list as well as on the
What's App to the Mendocino County Rare Birds and NW CA Birds. (Sasha
Cahill took a screenshot and sent it to the other list whose name I
forget at the moment). Todd Easterla, Mike Brady and Peter Pyle all
agree that it was a Cassin's Sparrow. Until our list taker can share the
eBird list with me, here are photos, attached
