Subject: [ia-bird] Merlin at Glendale
Last night (Oct 2) around sunset (ss 6:54 pm) the single Merlin was back
in the spruce with the forked top in Block 20. I saw it starting about
6:55 after first seeing it in the scrawny spruce in the middle of Block J
to the west. At about 7:07 it flew down and made 3 or 4 large circuits at
treetop level around Block H and 24, then went back to Block 20 for a few
minutes before disappearing.

The last two nights I have also seen a red fox on the roadway by the NE
corner of Block 20 right around 7:00 pm. Last night it appeared to
disappear down a storm sewer by that corner.
