Subject: [cobirds] Chico Basin Ranch Banding Station- Bird Conservancy of the Rockies-10/2/2025
Last Day of banding for the fall season at Chico. Two new birds banded for
the season were the highlights: Red-shafted (Northern) Flicker and Immature
Broad-winged Hawk!!
No recaptures and otherwise it was very quiet around the Olive Grove. Many
thanks again to all the Volunteers who assisted with the project this
season. The project could not be operated with your help.

Wilson's Warbler- 1
Audubon's (Yellow-rumped) Warbler- 1
Northern House Wren- 2
Hermit Thrush- 3
Song Sparrow- 1
Gambel's White-crowned Sparrow- 5
Gray Catbird- 1
Red-shafted (Northern) Flicker- 1
Broad-winged Hawk- 1


No Recaptures

Spring!
Today was the last day to bird/visit the ranch until next year.
