Just a reminder about the birding field trip this Sunday. I have two bird club members who are looking for a ride to Curwensville. If you are willing, please let me know and I will connect you with them. Jerod is asking that we meet in the large parking lot next to the beach area. Also, don't forget that there is a $5 per vehicle admission. Upon entering the park, turn right down a slight hill to the kiosk to pay. There are signs! Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday. You might want to carpool. If there are enough interested people, I can arrange a place and time to meet in State College. Jerod Skebo, a Curwensville resident and former Shaver's Creek Environmental Center employee will lead a walk of approximately 1 mile through various habitats to search for birds. Additional birding areas are in the park for those wanting to extend the walk. Meet at the beach parking lot. Wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear. Bring binoculars and spot! ting scopes. > > There is a $5 per vehicle fee to enter Curwensville Lake area. > > This field trip is open to members and non-members. > >
