A White-throated Sparrow, first of the season, appeared in our yard on Monday, 9/29.
RT Hummingbirds moved on but I keep the feeders cleaned & up for another month.
Current yardbirds:Eastern Bluebird, Northern Cardinal, Mourning Dove, Carolina Wren, Downy, Hairy & Red-bellied Woodpeckers, House Finch, Goldfinch, Song Sparrow, House Sparrow.Brown Thrashers and Gray Catbirds remain along with Northern Flickers, 12+Chipping Sparrows, several Eastern Phoebes, and many very noisy Blue Jays.
Flyovers in the valley:Common Raven, American Crow, TV, Red-tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, Coopers Hawk & Sharp-shinned Hawk.
