I have not seen Tree Swallows for a few weeks and thought they were gone. Then, on September 30 I was driving home in the vicinity of Lost World Caverns when I noticed some swallows foraging over a pasture. I continued to see swallows as I traveled northward, with a few perched on the utility wires. I finally ran out of the flock three miles later as I approached Rt. 219. This was one of the largest flocks that I have ever seen. Jack
